These terms are an agreement between you and Peasy HR. By using Peasy HR, you agree to them. We kept them short and clear.

Peasy HR is operated by a company incorporated in the United States.

Using Peasy HR

Peasy HR is a performance management tool. You can build competency frameworks for free, and you can subscribe to a paid plan for more features. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. If you use Peasy HR for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

We use third-party tools, such as Google Ads, to measure marketing performance. How we handle that data is described in our Privacy policy.

Your account

We sign you in with one-time email codes instead of passwords. Keep access to your email secure, since anyone with it can sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Please use Peasy HR responsibly. Do not:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Upload content that is harmful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to use.
  • Try to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Use the service to build a competing product or resell it without our permission.

Your content

You own the content you create in Peasy HR, including your Functions, competencies, and other text. You give us the permission we need to host, process, and display that content so we can run the service for you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

AI-generated content

Some content is drafted by AI based on your inputs. AI output can be wrong, biased, or incomplete, and it is not legal, HR, or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything you use. To the extent allowed by law, the AI-drafted content you generate is yours to use.

Plans, billing, and trials

  • The framework builder is free. Paid plans unlock the Function editor and other features.
  • We use Stripe to process payments. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
  • Fees are stated before you subscribe. Unless the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
  • You can cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and we will not renew it after that.
  • We may change prices with reasonable notice before your next billing period.

Our intellectual property

Peasy HR, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us. These terms do not give you any rights to our intellectual property except the right to use the service as intended.

Service availability

We work to keep Peasy HR available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or stop features, and we will give reasonable notice of major changes when we can.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Peasy HR and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. When the agreement ends, the sections that should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability, continue to apply.

Disclaimers

Peasy HR is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including that the service will meet your needs or be error-free. Peasy HR does not provide legal or HR advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Peasy HR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Some laws do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to cover reasonable claims and costs that arise from your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms or the law, to the extent allowed by applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your home country still apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We will update the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know by email or in the app. If you keep using Peasy HR after a change, you accept the updated terms.
